The singer of "Bécassine" and "Pandi-Panda" performed two performances of her new show "50 ans d'amour" this Sunday at her favorite venue, the Palais des Congrès in Paris. We were there.
By Valentine RousseauIt was her 535th performance at the Palais des Congrès this Sunday, May 25th in Paris. Chantal Goya performed two shows back-to-back, in front of a captivated audience. A two-and-a-half-hour show, a fitting celebration of her five-decade career. This new tour is called "50 Years of Love." She's surrounded by even more characters, more dancers, in settings as dear to her heart as this 3,700-seat Parisian venue. The enchanted forest, Puss in Boots' castle, nature filled with her animal friends.
At 82, she still wears little girl dresses, raises her arms in the air, spins in a farandole, holds the little dancers' hands, and dances herself. She arrives perched in an old oak tree and will leave the stage on her flying shoe.
